Operating Theatre

Our purpose built operating theatre is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment.

Our operating theatre is a controlled area where strict theatre protocols must be observed at all times.

The Veterinary Surgeons are assisted by experienced, qualified Veterinary Nurses, and anaesthetised animals are continuously monitored throughout their procedures.

Dental Suite

Our purpose built, state-of-the-art Dental Suite is where our dental procedures are carried out by our Veterinary Surgeons assisted by our qualified Veterinary Nurses. We have a modern dental X-ray that allows us to provide a fully comprehensive dental service.

Animal Preparation Area

Our purpose built Animal Preparation Area is where our patients are brought first before they go into either the Operating Theatre, Dental Suite, or Imaging Suite.

Imaging Suite

This is where all our x-rays are taken and where our ultrasound scanning is carried out.

Our modern high specification digital x-ray machine and automatic x-ray developer ensure high quality images.

Ultrasound examination, for such things as pregnancy, abdominal and chest problems, is available. Some of our vets have undergone specific training related to ultrasound techniques and have particular skills & interests in this area.

Kennels and Cat Ward

We have three separate kennel rooms in our practice. They are all equipped with spacious kennels for animals to be housed before and after surgery and for hospitalisation.

All of our kennels are designed to be easy to clean so as to minimise the risk of infection following surgery.

In-House Laboratory

We have modern and accurate haematology and biochemistry equipment to analyse blood samples quickly and efficiently as well as a modern microscope and staining techniques to allow us to examine urine sediment and cells in detail. This allows us to undertake important blood tests on your pet, for example prior to surgery, to help ensure the best outcome from treatment.

Test results are typically available less than 1 hour after taking the sample. This gives us, you and your pet the benefit of invaluable speedy information about your pet, whether your pet is unwell, due to have a general anaesthetic, or simply having a routine health screen.

Consultation Rooms

Our consultation rooms are light and well equipped for our Veterinary Surgeons to carry out full and thorough examinations and treatment of your pets.

Your pet’s clinical records are accessible in each of the consultation rooms using our fully computerised system.

Dispensary

All medicines are stored in the dispensary.

We stock a full range of all the latest products ready to treat your pet.

Reception and Waiting Area

Our recently refurbished reception area is a modern and comfortable area for pets and their owners to sit whilst waiting for their appointment. Our reception team are happy to answer questions and to offer advice.
