Nick Bartlett

BVM&S MRCVS – Partner

Nick qualified from The Royal (Dick) Veterinary School (Edinburgh University) in 1980 and has been with Meadow Lane Veterinary Centre since 1985.

He is an extremely experienced and talented clinician and surgeon who enjoys the variety of veterinary work and seeing clients and their pets. He has particular interest in orthopaedics and reptile medicine.

He lives with his wife Sue, has 7 children, 4 still living at home, plus the family’s dog, 2 cats, guinea pigs and 2 crested geckos.

In his spare time he likes to read, especially Fantasy/Sci-Fi novels, plus regularly referees Rugby, seniors on Saturdays, juniors and girls on Sundays.

Jenny Coulburn

BVSc MRCVS ESVPS GP Cert SAS – Partner

Jenny graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2002 having wanted to become a vet since early childhood. She worked with small & farm animals before joining Meadow Lane Veterinary Centre in 2005 and she became a partner in 2008.

She is particularly interested in surgery & ultrasound diagnostic techniques and she has an additional qualification in small animal surgery.

Outside work, she likes to rear sheep & other animals but most of her time is taken up looking after her two young boys.

Millie Holdsworth

Emily/ Millie graduated from the University of Nottingham in July 2020. Her particular interests are neurology and emergency and critical care.

Outside of work Millie enjoys running, baking and sending time with her family. Millie owns a mischievous black cat called Burdock who enjoys eating Millie’s indoor plants.  ‘

 

Hollie Parsons

Hollie has worked at Meadow Lane Vets since she graduated from Nottingham University. Before embarking on her veterinary career Hollie was heavily involved in volunteering for a well known cat charity and has always had a keen interest in feline behaviour and feline medicine.
Hollie dedicates most of her free time to cycling and running with the occasional hike in the countryside. She also has a very handsome cat called Marvin.

Holly Broom

BVM BVS MRCVS

Holly was born in Hong Kong and moved to the UK with her family when she began studying veterinary medicine at the University of Nottingham. She graduated in 2012, after which she carried out a rotating internship at a veterinary hospital in Derby, where she explored various areas of small animal medicine and surgery.

She has developed an interest in imaging, anaesthesia and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time Holly enjoys staying active and especially enjoys walking and meeting with friends.

She currently has a naughty little black cat who likes to stalk inanimate objects.
