Jenny Coulburn

BVSc MRCVS ESVPS GP Cert SAS

Jenny graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2002 having wanted to become a vet since early childhood. She worked with small & farm animals before joining Meadow Lane Vets in 2005 and she became a partner in 2008.

She is particularly interested in surgery & ultrasound diagnostic techniques and she has an additional qualification in small animal surgery.

Outside work, she likes to rear sheep & other animals but most of her time is taken up looking after her two young boys.

Geraldine Young

BVSc CertSAM MRCVS

Geraldine has worked as both an assistant and a lead vet, and also doing emergency out of hours work. She qualified from the University of Bristol in 1995, as the top graduate in her year. In 1999 she gained her Certificate in Small Animal Medicine. Geraldine’s particular areas of interest include managing complex medicine cases, and she has a special interest in renal, endocrine and gastrointestinal diseases. She is proficient at endoscopy and ultrasound (including heart scanning). Geraldine is particularly passionate about feline medicine,  and Meadow Lane’s Cat friendly clinic accreditation was a factor in her decision to join us.

Outside of work, Geraldine is a keen cyclist, an avid follower of Leicester City Football Club, and also enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She owns two cats and two rabbits.

Gabriella Noyak

PgCert AVP Cert MRCVS

Gabby Graduated in 1999 in Turin, Italy and came to work in the UK in 2000. Since then Gabby has worked hard to gain her Advanced Practitioner  certificate as well as her Post Graduate Certificate in Surgery in 2022. Gabby’s experience and expertise allow Meadow Lane Vets to offer advanced surgery such as BOAS, cruciate repair, fracture repair and more! Outside of work Gabby enjoys skiing in the Alps and looking after her two children.

Gabrielle Mitchell

BVSc MRCVS PgCertSurg (WBIS)

Gabby, originally from Edmonton, Canada, moved to England in 2005 as an engineer. She decided on a change of career and graduated from the University of Liverpool Vet School in 2015. Gabby has a genuine interest in first opinion small animal practice and recently achieved a Small Animal Surgery Certificate. She works part-time so she can also spend time with her young daughter. At home she has a delightful cat named Olive, a gorgeous dog named Brad, and a few chickens.

Lucy Crawshaw

BVM BVS MRCVS

Following 9 years in the Royal Airforce, Lucy decided to change career and in 2016 started her veterinary training at the University of Nottingham. Alongside Lucy’s studies she continued her military career by becoming a Reservist Dog Handler in the Royal Army Vet Corps, where she qualified as both a Protection and Search Dog Handler. Lucy graduated from university in the Summer of 2022 and has been a part of the Meadow Lane team ever since. Lucy has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and small furies. Lucy is a proud Mum to two Boxer dogs and three rats and is expecting a new addition in 2024.

Emily Beattie

BVMSci MRCVS

Emily graduated from The University of Surrey in July 2023. Emily enjoys getting to know all of our lovely clients and their pets and has many pets of her own! Emily has Max the Labrador, Bramble and Wilma the Pointers and a cheeky puppy called Walter who is an Italian Spinoni. Emily enjoys scrubbing in to complex surgeries as well as medicine. Outside of work, Emily loves visiting Scotland and going jogging with her dogs.
