Carrie Bilson

Practice Manager

Carrie started her career working in a Veterinary Hospital in 2017. Since qualifying as a registered nurse, she has gained additional qualifications in Anaesthesia as well as reptile nursing. Carrie enjoys training student Vets and Nurses and helps to facilitate placements at Meadow Lane Vets. Outside of the vets Carrie likes to spend time relaxing with her 3 cats, 2 snakes and Giant African land snail.

 

Nicola Bircher

Senior Veterinary Nurse

Nicola has been with Meadow Lane Vets since 2019. She is currently one of 3 Practice cat advocates and has assisted greatly in the Practice gaining its ISFM cat friendly clinic silver status. Nicola enjoys anaesthesia, theatre work and all aspects of creating a cat friendly clinic. In her spare time Nicola loves spending time with her husband, 3 children and crazy dachshund Flo

Natalie Cooper

Veterinary Nurse

Natalie graduated from Nottingham Trent University in Summer 2023. She has a keen interest in Radiography, feline nursing and caring for wildlife. In her spare time Nat is looking after her 3 cats, leopard gecko, snake, tarantula and other creepy crawlies! She also enjoys hiking and playing board games with her friends.

 

Liliana Gomes

Veterinary Nurse

Liliana graduated from Nottingham Trent University in June 2023. Liliana’s favourite part of nursing is anaesthesia, neonatal care and inpatient care. At home Liliana has her two cats, Maisie and Moo, who she hand reared during her final year at university, Minnie, a feisty little Jack Russell Terrier and Tank, a naughty German Shepherd cross Husky! Outside of work, Liliana enjoys going on long walks in the Peaks and hunting the best deals for her next holiday!

 

Harriett Sargeant

Veterinary Nurse

Harriet is a final year nursing student, studying at Nottingham Trent University. Harriet previously worked on reception at Meadow Lane Vets and since starting university has completed all of her clinical training here. Harriet is passionate about inpatient care and endeavours to treat every patient as her own. Harriet is a crazy cat lady and enjoys working as part of our silver awarded cat friendly clinic. Outside of work Harriet is devoted to her cat Betsy, greyhound Dolly and terrier cross Pippa. She also enjoys walks in the countryside and attending yoga classes.

 

Donna Joyce

Veterinary Nurse

Donna graduated from Nottingham Trent University in the Summer of 2023. Donna has experience working with a range of species including zoo animals! Donna has a keen interest in Anaesthesia, wildlife and emergency care. She also has a soft spot for nursing elderly dogs.  Donna is enjoying studying for her post graduate top up year and spends her free time with her 3 legged dog Nettie watching movies and crafting

Elizabeth Bird

Veterinary Nurse

Lizzy is a RVN who is currently studying at Nottingham University to become a Vet. Lizzy still loves all aspects of nursing, and is always calm in an emergency or big surgery. Lizzy looks forward to developing her surgical skills as her Vet training progresses. Lizzy can be found out walking with her dog Mr Chase or showjumping with her horse Pickles.
